Drop Off

When dropping your children off, please ensure I am aware of your arrival and departure as it will be recorded daily for the safety of your child. Please don’t drop off between 12 noon and 2pm as this is disruptive to the children who are sleeping and or resting.


Pick Up

Pick up is at 5:00pm. If you cannot pick up on time, please arrange to have your emergency pick-up person collect your child. Their name will previously have been provided on the registration sheet you filled out. They’ll be asked to provide identification at pick up and must be over the age of 16. We ask that you notify us of an alternate pick up person even if they are listed as an emergency pickup

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A CHILD BE RELEASED TO AN UNAUTHORIZED PERSON.

Outdoor Time

An important part of the day. We are outside for one hour in the morning as well as the afternoon. We may even do some of our indoor activities outside! Weather permitting. Please ensure your child has the appropriate clothing for each season.

Lunch/Snack

Tea time, picnic, brunch, luncheon, feast, buffet or however you say it, lunch is served at approximately 11:45 every day. We follow Canada’s Food Guide in order to meet nutritional standards. Any allergens are on a different floor of the daycare and areas are sanitized.  We encourage children to try a variety of foods. Religious restrictions will be recognized.

Sleep Time

I’m sorry, did you say something? I was nodding off. We follow government standards which state that all children are encouraged to rest after lunch. Children are encouraged to stay on their beds for one hour.
